A Project Director at LIGHTBLUE will work within the Client Servicing team, they will be responsible for leading and bringing to life client briefs and will execute events that will run efficiently and cost effective.
The role will also include working closely with the Production Manager ensuring that all costs budgeted are as accurate as possible along with being realistic and functional. The Project Director will manage client expectations through being able to inform them on realistic deadlines and what can be achieved within the allocated time and budget.
You’ll lead projects and execute them to a high standard.
You’ll be working with global suppliers, delivering end to end management of the overall project.
You’ll have regular internal check ins and updates with the internal team along with managing client expectations and feeding back to their stakeholders
You’ll be working within the office along with going on site for regular checkups on the project’s progression to ensure that it is running on time
You’ll communicate project milestones keeping all involved regularly updated
You’ll strive to follow and implement the best practice production process within LIGHTBLUE and for all of LIGHTBLUE’s clients.
You’ll maintain the tracking document whilst working closely with our Production Manager.
Working in a high paced environment where multi-tasking won’t be an issue, the need to be able to handle multiple accounts and handle clients with different needs is a must.
Develop and maintain a close and productive relationship with key client contacts, acting with integrity at all times and identify and deal with problems as they arise.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
5 + years’ experience in a role that involved Event Management.
Exemplary Project Management skills with the ability to maintain and extend client relationships.
Excellent time management, numeracy skills, and attention to detail.
Fluent, clear, and articulate in verbal communication with the ability to convey interest and enthusiasm when presenting.
Assertive and able to take charge of a situation when appropriate with the ability to lead, motivate, and influence others.
Proven leadership experience managing teams and coaching and mentoring individuals.
Have a flair for people, be able to anticipate the impact of an increased workload, working to deadlines.
A positive can-do attitude, including being able and willing to work extended hours during peak periods.
Strong organizational skills, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with managing a team.
