A Brand Strategist at LIGHTBLUE will help bring stories to life. Being passionately curious you’ll have an excellent grasp of culture and the world at large. You will constantly look to develop big ideas that excite clients. You’ll have excellent presenting, idea generation, and research skills.

Working in a fast-paced environment won’t phase you and you’ll have the ability to work to quick turnaround times and adapt to the LIGHTBLUE way of working. Being a part of LIGHTBLUE you will integrate yourself into the team and work with the talented individuals we have here at LIGHTBLUE, you will also be able to work independently.

You’ll be producing meaningful work at LIGHTBLUE and understand the importance of key details to make projects stand out. You’ll have a proven track record of driving compelling creative output, developing sharp, focused briefs for the needs of the creatives and collaborating with the team to get the job done.



Be a part of the strategy on a new business pitch, working with the Partnerships Director from start to finish.

Create decks, develop compelling copy and detailed strategy documents that can clearly explain the reasoning behind strategic decisions, showing the client why this strategy will achieve their desired results.

Champion both the strategic and creative work throughout the pitch process.

Create the strategic foundations of new business pitches through conducting research and analyse client materials.

Understand brands, competitors, and target audiences.

Formulate insights, write creative briefs, and inspire the creative team with your idea generation.

Conduct research, analyse data, and shape the brand narrative.

Work with the Partnership Director to set marketing goals that align with the overall direction of LIGHTBLUE.

Create engaging campaigns that highlight and tell the story of brands to engage their consumers.

Develop proactive insights to brands and contribute throughout the pitch process.


Understanding the Agency:

• Understand LIGHTBLUE credentials, solutions and brand principles.

• Understanding of and willingness to integrate cross-functionally with other departments across the agency.

• Use all available opportunities, both inside and outside the Agency, to understand the Client’s brands and businesses.


Personal and Professional Development:

You are actively encouraged to develop your skills that enhance your capabilities and the operations of the business. Any course or webinar deemed appropriate for continued up-skilling should be submitted to the HR Department for consideration. You should also use either internal or external resources as provided by the company for your personal development. The Agency is fully committed to the growth and development of all staff and will provide support as and when the opportunity arises.



• Educated to degree level in relevant subject.

• Ability to actively and proactively develop strategic plans and manage their continued efficiency.

• Fluent, clear, and articulate in verbal communication with the ability to convey interest and enthusiasm when presenting.

• Assertive and able to take charge of a situation when appropriate with the ability to lead, motivate, and influence others.

• A positively strong attitude, including being able and willing to work extended hours during peak periods.

• Have a flair for people, be able to anticipate the impact of an increased workload, working to deadlines.

• Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. Highly organised.

Degree in Marketing/or a degree similar.
